Green Rice Gallery opened in 2003 with the belief that Charlotte NC needed an art gallery
to showcase the work of local, emerging artists.
Later, the gallery expanded to offer more studio space and opportunities to meet the artists
and witness their creative processes under the direction of owner Carla Garrison.
The Green Rice Gallery also offers a Borrow an Artist program, is available as a unique venue for a variety
of events complete with an In-House Meeting Planner,
hosts art classes for all ages through Holt's School of Fine Art,
and sponsors an annual Juried Art Competition for NC and SC artists.
Located

in the heart of the NoDa neighborhood in Charlotte NC, the gallery proudly exhibits works of more
than 30 artists in a variety of media, including paintings, photography, mosaics,
glass, jewelry, pottery, and sculpture.
The gallery is an inviting space with more than 5000 sq. ft. of exhibit area
and is frequented by first time buyers as well as art collectors.
